Not only was there a space constraint but the typical tray placement was awkward and generated a significant amount of wasted time and motion.
What the group was seeking was a tray that could be positioned over the patient while seated in the chair. The tray had to be compatible with various chair types and fit into limited space. It also had to be height adjustable to accommodate both patient and dentist.
In consultation with these dentists Humble designed a simple, light weight dental surgery platform. The main structure is fabricated with high quality aluminum extrusion complimented by an electro-polished stainless steel tray. The tray nests into the platform and can be lifted out for cleaning, sterilizing and preparation. |
